As I put โ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฅโ (new phrase, never heard that before) into my coffee, I wanted to share all the benefitss!!! If you havenโt incorporated ๐๐ ๐๐๐ช ๐ฏ into your diet, you really should find a way to add it in. Hereโs some interesting facts ๐
๐There are live enzymes in honey.
๐Honey contains a substance that helps your brain work better.
๐Honey is one of the rare foods on earth that alone can sustain human life.
๐One teaspoon of honey is enough to sustain human life for 24 hours.
๐When in contact with a metal spoon, these enzymes die.
๐The best way to eat honey is with wooden or plastic spoon.
๐Propolis that bees produce, is one of the most powerful natural antibiotics
๐Honey has no expiration date.
๐The bodies of the great emperors of the world were buried in golden coffins and then covered with honey to prevent putrefaction.
๐The term “honeymoon” comes from the fact that newlyweds consumed honey for fertility after the wedding.
๐A bee lives less than 40 days, visits at least 1000 flowers and produces less than a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime.
๐One of the first coins had a bee symbol on it.
โฌ๏ธ There you have it. I hope you will BEE ๐ thinking (see what I did there?) of ways to add it into your diet.
As we begin the season of โcookoutsโ please be mindful of a few thingsโฆ
1) Do not show up if you were not invited by the host. I don’t care who you know!
2) If you were invited do not bring extra people with you.
3) Always ask do I need to bring anything. Even if the answer is no, bring a bag of chips at minimum.
4) Should you bring anything at all, bring it with the intention of leaving it.
5) If you have not contributed financially to the event you “ARE NOT” entitled to leave with anything wrapped in aluminum foil or in a Tupperware container.
6) Everyone has rules at their house, be respectful or don’t come.
7) If your children are not well behaved, you must stay at home with your children. (Sorry, not sorry)
๐ The Saints will mingle with the Aints, if you can’t handle that, stay home!
9) This is not the time for you to learn the latest line dance.. Sit down somewhere!! You had all of spring and winter to practice!
10) If you smoke, idc what it is, sit yourself down in an isolated area . No one wants that stuff blowing in their face or over their food.
11) This goes along with #7โฆ The cookout is not a free babysitting service. You brought your child YOU watch your child.
12) The food is not going to run out. Stop making these gigantic plates knowing you can’t eat it all.
13) Stop asking who made the potato salad. If I told you, you wouldn’t know any way!
14) Before you trip about the sodas not being “Name Brand”, ask yourself did you contribute one dime.
15) Before you open a fresh bottle of water finish the one you started.
That’s enough for now, please govern yourselves accordingly!

INGREDIENTS 1 lb lean ground beef 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 ounces) 2 tablespoons water 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 1 medium bell pepper 1 cup salsa 3 cups lettuce, shredded 1 medium tomatoes 1โ4 cup onion, chopped (optional) 1โ2 cup pitted ripe black olives (optional) sour cream (optional)
DIRECTIONS Cook ground beef in large skillet over medium heat 7-9 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain. Remove pan from heat. Stir in taco seasoning mix, cheese and water. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF. Unroll crescent dough; separate into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on Classic Round Pizza Stone with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward outside. (There should be a 5 inch diameter opening in center.) I use my Pampered Chef pizza stone, but any flat round pan should work–perhaps even a pizza sheet, but I’d spray it with Pam before adding the crescent rolls. Scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered). Bake at 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Shred lettuce and chop tomato, onion, olives, and bell pepper (if desired). If you want to do something fancy, scoop out a bell pepper and fill with salsa and put into center of ring. Add your toppings to top of ring and finish with more shredded cheese and sour cream. This is great with a salad.

Take baking dish out of the oven and top with shredded cheese, bacon and green onion.
Place back in oven for 8-10 minutes (or until cheese is melted and bubbly).

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road but, even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help.
So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her. Even with the smile on his face, she looked worried.
No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her?
He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold.
He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, ‘I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm?
By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.’ Well, all she had was a flat tire but, for an old lady, that was bad enough.
Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire.
But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him.
She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her.
She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid.
This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need and, God knows, there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed and, Bryan added, ‘And think of me.’
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road, the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to get a bite to eat and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home.
It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole \scene was unfamiliar to her.
The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that, even being on her feet for the whole day, couldn’t erase.
The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude.
The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back.
The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something was written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: ‘You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.’
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day.
That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it?
With the baby due next month, it was going to be hardโฆ. She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, ‘Everything’s going to be all right.
I love you, Bryan Anderson.’ There is an old sayingโฆ ‘What goes around comes around.’ Today I send you this story, and I’m asking you to pass it on. Let this light shine.
God works in mysterious ways and sometimes puts people in our lives for a reason.
