Chronic stress disrupts nearly every system in our body.
It can suppress our immune system, upset our digestive and reproductive systems, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, and speed up the aging process.
It can even rewire the brain, leaving us more vulnerable to anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems.
Time Management, for me, is a good way to relieve stress. We must recognize that we can’t do everything all at once. And when situations happens we must adjust our plans and our mindset.
Life is going to have its highs and lows, success and failure, abundance and scarcity (you get the picture), most of us is happy if things are as per our wishes and not happy when things are not as per our wishes.
So to enjoy life completely we have to learn to be happy when things are not as per our wishes.
We all have been through a phase or two or even more in our lives when the positivism within us felt like it had diminished completely.
Yet, there was a tiny flame of hope burning in us which kept us pushing forward.
This hope may be family, friends, or our passion for life. I swear by the phrase‘there is light at the end of the tunnel’.
Enjoying one’s present is the best way to live life. Because what tomorrow holds for us is still wrapped up as a gift. It may be better than today or worse than today either way we shouldn’t dwell on tomorrow but live in the moment stress free.
We may win or lose, yet with every experience, we should learn a lesson. A lesson for a lifetime. A lesson to save us from the different stresses in life.
We need to improve ourselves for the better. Even if we think that we are living a miserable life someone always has it worse.
Remember, we all have been planted on this planet with a purpose. We need to get over our misery.
How to enjoy life?
Be Present In The Moment.
Meet New People And Listen To Their Experiences Of life.
Just remember that things you say, even in innocence, can go on to have a life of their own. And, innocent or not, your words about someone else can one day come back to bite you in the end!
Mention the word “soul mate” to a group of people and you’re bound to get a few eye rolls. The idea that there’s one magical person for you who you’ll fall in love with instantly and never disagree with is just not realistic.
What does exist — at least for many people — is a person who you know instinctively, who you connect with on the deepest level and who allows you to grow as a person within the relationship. When that person is a romantic partner, you’ve come across someone truly special.

Being a vet, I was called to examine a 13-year-old Irish dog named Belker.
The dog’s family, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little 6-year-old Shane were close to Belker and expected a miracle.
I tested the dog and found out he was dying of cancer. I told the family I couldn’t do anything for him and offered to do the euthanasia procedure at home.
The next day, I felt the familiar feeling in my throat when Belker was surrounded by family.
Shane seemed so quiet, petting the dog for the last time and I was wondering if he would understand what was going on. In a few minutes, the animal fell peacefully sleeping to never wake up.
The child seemed to accept Belker’s transition without difficulty. We sat for a moment wondering why the unfortunate fact that dog life is shorter than human beings.
Shane, who had been listening closely, said, “I know why.”
What he said next surprised me: I had never heard a more heartwarming explanation than this. This moment changed my way of seeing life.
He said: “People come into the world to learn to live a good life, like loving others all the time and being a good person, eh? well, as dogs are already born knowing how to do all this, they don’t have to stay as long as we do.”
The moral of the story is:
If a dog was his teacher, you’d learn things like:
🐾 When your loved ones come home, always run to say hello.
🐾 Never pass up an opportunity to go for a walk.
🐾 Allow yourself the experience of fresh air and wind.
🐾 Runs, jumps, and plays daily.
🐾 Upgrade your attention and let people touch you.
🐾 Avoid ” biting” when just a “growl” would suffice.
🐾 On warm days, lay on the grass.
🐾 When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
🐾 And never forget: “When someone has a bad day, stay silent, sit close and gently make them feel like you’re there…”
This is the secret of happiness that, even if we don’t realize, dogs teach us daily. 🐶❤️
Crock Pot Fiesta Chicken is the perfect Mexican meal for a busy family on the go. You can use it to make tacos or put it on a rice bowl. You can even use it as a topping for nachos. This is such a great slow cooker meal because it is so versatile and the uses for dinner are endless.
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Breasts: look for chicken breasts that are similar size so they bake evenly.
Ranch Dressing Seasoning: Adds so much flavor and can be substituted for spicy or fiesta dry ranch seasoning.
Onion Powder: Onion powder is delicious addition to add lots of flavor to the chicken.
Black Pepper: You can add more to season to your liking.
Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies: See substitutions down below to make it less spicy.
Corn: I used canned corn, but you can use fresh corn as well.
Black Beans: You can also use dry beans. You will need to follow the directions and re-hydrate them first.
Cream Cheese: This is what makes this so creamy.
Limes: Try to use freshly squeezed lime juice. The bottled stuff just doesn’t taste the same.
Chicken Broth: You can make your own with bullion or use chicken broth from a can.
DIRECTIONS:
Place chicken breasts in the Crock Pot. Add drained and rinsed black beans, drained corn, Rotel tomatoes, onion powder, ranch seasoning, and black pepper.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top. Then pour chicken broth over ingredients and place cream cheese block on top.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours. Chicken is done when it reaches 165 degrees internal temperature.
Remove chicken from the Crock Pot. Using two forks shred the chicken and add back into the Crock Pot.
Stir all the ingredients together until cream cheese coats everything.
Serve while hot and enjoy!
HOW TO SERVE THIS DISH:
Tacos: Add to your favorite corn or flour tortillas.
Over Rice: Put over plain white rice, cilantro lime rice or Mexican rice.
Burrito Bowl: Make a layer of rice and add the fiesta chicken on top. Then add your favorite toppings like guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce, tortilla strips and pico de gallo. Then sprinkle a little shredded cheese over the top.
Salad: Place a tortilla in the bottom of a bowl and sprinkle cheddar cheese over it. Melt the cheese in the microwave or oven. Then add cilantro rice, fiesta chicken, shredded lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese and tortilla strips. Then add your favorite dressing over the top.
When Cicely Tyson was born, doctors predicted she wouldn’t make it three months because of a murmur in her heart. What they didn’t know, what they couldn’t know, was that Cicely had a heart unlike any other — the kind that would not only beat for 96 more years but leave a mark on the world that few could match.
In her extraordinary career, Cicely Tyson was one of the rare award-winning actors whose work on the screen was surpassed only by what she was able to accomplish off of it.
Cicely wasn’t exactly destined for Hollywood. When she was a child, her mother — a hardworking and religious woman who cleaned houses — didn’t even let her go to the movies. But once Cicely got her education, she made a conscious decision not just to say her lines but to speak her truth.
At a time when parts for actors who looked like her weren’t easy to come by, she refused to take on roles that reduced Black women to their gender or their race. Sometimes, that meant she would go years without work.
But she took pride in knowing that whenever her face was on camera, she would be playing a character who was a human being — flawed but resilient; perfect not despite but because of their imperfections.
Across all of her performances, in legendary productions ranging from “Sounder” to “The Trip to Bountiful” to “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman,” she helped us see the dignity within all who made up our miraculous — and, yes, messy — American family.
Michelle and I were honored when Cicely came to the White House to accept the Medal of Freedom, knowing she was one of the many giants upon whose shoulders we stood — a trailblazer whose legacy couldn’t be measured by her Emmys and Tony and Oscar alone, but by the barriers she broke and the dreams she made possible.
We are sending our thoughts and prayers to every member of Cicely’s family and to all of those who loved her. And while we are saddened that her heart finally came to a rest today, there is comfort in knowing that she will always live on in ours. ~Barack Obama – 01/28/2021

Uric acid is a problem for a lot of people and can cause serious health issues. All of us have this compound in our blood, but in small quantities, and we should always try to keep those levels low. One way to do this is by watching what we eat and consuming fruits that can help reduce uric acid naturally.
It is better to use what nature gives us than have to rely upon prescription meds with some deadly side effects. Don’t wait until your situation gets chronic before you take action.
BEWARE, FRIENDS: I almost fell for this very sophisticated debit card scam.
Here’s how it goes: got a call, the caller ID was my bank. The guy says he’s from the fraud dept, calling about my debit card ending in —-(the 4 correct numbers), and asks if i’d been traveling, reports 2 suspicious charges that happened at out-of-state stores (Lowe’s and Walmart).
I said nope, wasn’t me. He says they’ll send me a new card. He knows my address. He knows all my phone numbers. He sends a verification code to my cell and asks me to read it to him.
THEN HE ASKS FOR MY PIN NUMBER, so he can deactivate it. That’s where I said “no.” But he has an answer for my suspicions: he says look at the number I’m calling from, it matches the number on the back of your card.
It does! But still, then I said let me call you back and he hung up!
I reported this to my bank’s fraud dept, who said WE WOULD NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PIN NUMBER. (And immediately cancelled my card.)
They also said this is the new scam, they’re hearing about it a lot. Tell everyone!
I knew also right away because as I was on the call… I checked with my identity protection service because I would have gotten an alert from my service before this call ever came.
No alert found. My scam radar was screaming. Be careful out there guys these scammers are very tech savvy these days.
A lady went to the Pastor and said🙍🏾 … “I won’t be attending Church anymore.”
He said, “May I ask why??” She said, “I see people on their cell phones during the service, some are gossiping, some just ain’t living right, they are all just hypocrites.”
The Pastor got silent and he said, “Ok… But can I ask you to do something for me before you make your final decision?” She said, “What’s that?”
He said, “Take a glass of water and walk around the Church 2 times and don’t let any water fall out the glass.”
She said, “Yes I can do that.” She came back and said “It’s done.” He asked her 3 questions:
Did you see anybody on their phone?
Did you see anybody gossiping?
Was anybody living wrong?
She said, “I didn’t see anything because I was so focused on this glass, so the water wouldn’t fall.”
He told her, “When you come to Church, you should be just that focused on God, so that you don’t fall.
That’s why Jesus said ‘Follow me.’ He did not say follow Christians. Don’t let your relationship with God be determined by how others relate with God. Let it be determined by how focused YOU are on God.” 🙏🏼🙏🏼🗣🗣🗣
To all those “gangsters”out there take a look… this is where you will be fighting for your life if this stupidness carries on… none of your “boys” will be there, oh no!!! Just you… and you alone.
Stop putting on a show for idiots that can only give you a “#RIP” or “#FreeMyG” in return.
You have 3 yards in life to choose from… your yard, prison yard, or graveyard. Choose one!!!
PLEASE STOP THE VIOLENCE…LET OUR CHILDREN GROW OLD…🎯❤💯🙏
Change is inevitable in life… You can either resist it and potentially get run over by it, or you can choose to cooperate with it, adapt to it, and learn how to benefit from it. When you embrace change you will begin to see it as an opportunity for growth.
Be cautious though. All changes aren’t good changes. My motto, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
God cares how we treat each other because we’re all created in His image (Genesis 1:27). He makes no distinction between the inherent value of one race or ethnicity over another.
God cares about people regardless of their ethnicity, nationality, and social status (Deuteronomy 10:17-19).
God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right (Acts 10:34-35).
We were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink (1 Corinthians 12:13).
If you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers (James 2:9).
About the age to come, we see a heavenly picture: a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb (Revelation 7:9-10).
The Gospel—doesn’t just mean that we’re brought near to God. It also means we’re brought near to the people we once considered so different from ourselves (Ephesians 2:13). God restores our relationships with people and groups we’ve mistreated. That’s called reconciliation: the removal of prejudice and the restoration of a relationship to healthy, understanding, and appreciation for each other. God is a reconciling God.
